Documenting the impact of the WFP-UNICEF joint resilience program in Aweil, South Sudan

On my journey to documenting the impact of the WFP-UNICEF joint resilience program in Aweil, South Sudan, I met these amazing and exciting women in Pangadit Village. Standing in the middle of their two acres of cassava plantation, these women attributed their achievement to the program intervention.

The Joint Resilience Program comprises a range of activities, including health and nutrition interventions, education programming, and Food Assistance for Assets (FFA) activities. The intervention's intended direct outcomes include increased household resilience capacities, food security, nutrition, and health.

I can’t wait to share their tales and those of other beneficiaries, for instance, the school-going children, teachers, and community leaders.
